Giving Tuesday is a day where people are encouraged to spend money on nonprofits and make charitable donations. This year, AMECO Solar suggests making a donation to one of three solar-focused nonprofits: We Care Solar, Alternative Rock for Alternative Energy and Grid Alternatives.
Last Sunday, the AMECO Solar team attended the Solar Decathlon at the Orange County Great Park in Irvine, California. We saw 19 solar-powered, energy efficient homes that were designed and built by collegiate teams from around the world.
