Warranty and Return Policy
WARRANTY POLICY:
All products in our catalog are covered by the manufacturers'
warranty. Manufacturer warranties cover repair and/or replacement
of defective items. GO Solar Company will make a good faith effort
for prompt correction or other adjustment with respect to any
product which proves to be defective within the warranty period.
Before returning any product, write or call GO Solar Company
with the date and number of original invoice, and describing
defect. Title and risk of loss pass to Purchaser on delivery
to the common carrier.
Most of the products supplied to GO Solar are warranted to
the final consumer by its manufacturer; copies of such warranties
are supplied with the product or are available from the manufacturer.
As a service, GO Solar will obtain copies of consumer warranties
from the warrantor and will furnish free of charge to Purchasers
requesting same. Address all such requests to: GO Solar Company,
Dept. C3, 12439 Magnolia Blvd. PMB 132, North Hollywood, CA 91607
USA. Requests must include the GO Solar order number and the
manufacturer's model number of each product for which a copy
of the warranty is requested. GO Solar may also furnish sales
brochures and other literature from the manufacturer. GO Solar
assumes no responsibility for the content of such warranties
or sales literature by performing this service.
RETURN POLICY:
Within 15 days you may return items purchased, in original
new and unused condition with all original packaging, hardware,
manuals and inserts for exchange or refund if you are not satisfied
with your merchandise. Returns should be shipped UPS or insured
parcel post for your protection.
After 15 days a restocking fee of 20% will apply to all items
returned in new unused original condition with original packaging,
hardware, manuals and inserts. Higher fees will be applied to
items returned not in new factory condition or not in original
packaging or with out manuals, inserts and/or parts missing.
Any defective item needs to be sent to the manufacturer. Please
contact GO Solar before returning any item.
CANCELLATION:
Any cancellation must be approved by GO Solar, and may be
subject to restocking and other charges.
PRODUCT SUITABILITY:
Many states and localities have codes and regulations governing
sales, construction, installation, and/or use of products for
certain purposes, which may vary from those in neighboring areas.
While GO Solar attempts to assure that its products comply with
such codes, it cannot guarantee compliance, and cannot be responsible
for how the product is installed or used. Before purchase and
use of a product, please review the product application, and
national and local codes and regulations, and be sure that the
product, installation, and use will comply with them.
GO Solar Company recommends having a qualified electrician
install all wiring for solar equipment, and in conformity with
the National Electrical Code and any other applicable local,
state and county building codes. This is the only means of assuring
your safety and the longevity of the purchased product or system.
LIMITATION
OF LIABILITY:
ANY LIABILITY FOR CONSEQUENTIAL AND INCIDENTAL DAMAGES IS
EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMED. GO SOLAR'S LIABILITY IN ALL EVENTS IS LIMITED
TO, AND SHALL NOT EXCEED, THE PURCHASE PRICE PAID.
FORCE MAJEURE:
GO Solar Company shall not be liable for any delay in or impairment
of performance resulting in whole or in part from Acts of God,
severe weather conditions, labor disruptions, governmental decrees
or controls, insurrections, war risks, shortages, inability to
procure or ship product or obtain permits and licenses, supplies
or raw materials, or any other circumstances or causes beyond
the control of GO Solar in the conduct of its business.
MODIFICATION
OF TERMS:
GO Solar's acceptance of any order is subject to Purchaser's
assent to all of the terms and conditions set forth in GO Solar's
acknowledgment, and Purchaser's assent to these terms and conditions
shall be presumed from Purchaser's receipt of GO Solar's acknowledgment,
or from Purchaser's acceptance of all or any part of the goods
or services ordered. All other contrary terms and conditions
are expressly rejected, and no addition or modification of terms
and conditions shall be binding upon GO Solar unless agreed to
by GO Solar in writing.
PRIVACY POLICY:
GO Solar is committed to the protection of the privacy of
its web site visitors. We do not engage in the practice of selling
our customer information to third parties.
In order to answer a question or fulfill your requests, it
may be necessary to ask for personal information such as your
name, physical address, e-mail address and telephone number.
We may use this information to respond to your requests, or to
contact you via e-mail to inform you of new products, services
or promotions we may offer. If you place an order for a product
we may need to contact you for additional information needed
to process your order. We will not provide this information to
a third party, except as necessary to process your order.
While efforts have been made to ensure the accuracy of this
Web site, due to its open nature, GO Solar does not warrant its
accuracy.
